NSSI Announces New Program Manager to
Administer the California Playground Surfacing Program
The
National Safe Surfacing Initiative is pleased to announce the addition of Elizabeth
Heal as a Certified Program Manager.
Elizabeth has a Business Management and Marketing
degree from Sacramento State University.
Elizabeth's prior experience with financing and school management software
will prepare her well for her duties of assisting schools in utilizing the
benefits offered by the California Playground Surfacing Program.
As
a mother of three boys, Elizabeth understands the need for safe play and
fitness areas for children. Elizabeth will
assist California schools, childcare centers and public park officials in
designing safer outdoor play and fitness environments utilizing modern
surfacing solutions while also providing a host of professional services,
safety assessments and financing solutions.
The
National Safe Surfacing Initiative® (NSSI) partners with government agencies to
improve the safety and ADA accessibility of outdoor play and fitness
environments for young children, aiding in the development of both
the strength and confidence of our youth as well as building life long habits
of healthy activity and play.
